This 'Hose End Feeder' has been tested applying nematodes by Nematodes Direct and offers a consistent application rate, going from full to empty in around 5 minutes under typical water pressure. It isn't just limited to nematodes and can also be used for applying liquid feed to plants and lawns.
It simply attaches via standard hose-pipe connector (not included) and features a consistent wide spray pattern as well as an on / off switch for water flow.
This handy pouch applicator helps you distribute diluted nematode solution evenly across lawns, beds and planted areas with less mess and less effort. It is simple to fill, easy to top up and ideal for repeat pouch refills when treating larger areas.

Easy to fill, easy to use
Using the pouch is straightforward. Mix your nematodes thoroughly in one litre of water to create a stock solution, pour the correct amount into the pouch, top up with tepid water, attach the spray head and shake well. Then attach the hose to the sprayer head, turn on the water and begin application. Once the pouch is empty, simply refill and repeat until your stock solution has been used.
Works with a wide range of nematode treatments
This applicator has been designed for use with a wide range of Nematodes Direct and Nemasys nematode products. The supplied instructions include guidance for Slug, Vine Weevil, Ant, Leatherjacket, Chafer Grub, Sciarid Fly, Cutworm, Carrot Root Fly, Fruit & Veg, Codling Moth, Box Tree Caterpillar, Wireworm and Flea & Flea Beetle nematodes, with different stock solution amounts and refill counts depending on the treatment.
Application tips for best results
For the best performance, nematodes should be used immediately after opening, and once mixed into solution they should be used within 4 hours. Because nematodes are UV sensitive, they are best applied in the evening, when overcast or during rainfall. If applying over plants, rewater around 30 minutes later to wash nematodes back into the soil. For lawns, keep the area moist with regular watering for up to 2 weeks after treatment.
